Nowadays there are many treatments who’s aim is to counteract the lack of estrogen with very good therapeutic results. We must identify the type of treatment and its duration, consorting and informing the patient about it, its risks and its benefits, and adapting it to her wishes and needs.

All of these treatments require a control by the gynecologist to avoid adverse effects and strict monitoring of the breast, because even if the treatment is not the cause of it, if breast cancer appears, treatment should be suspended because it has a hormone-dependent evolution.
