The Consultation was born after a life journey by Dr. Manuel Samaranch, who began his professional career at the Provincial House of Maternity in Barcelona, in 1979.<\/p>\n

In 1982 he created his first consultation on Calle Gonz\u00e1lez Tablas, and after multiple professional and personal events, in February 2011, he inaugurated this consultation with a group of professionals that combine professional and human quality, trying to offer his patients personalized assistance, along with a high professional level and friendly treatment, all in a welcoming environment.<\/p>\n

Dr. Samaranch studied medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the Central University of Barcelona (Hospital Cl\u00ednic). At the end of these studies, he joined the Provincial Maternity of Barcelona to perform the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology, obtaining the title of the specialty in 1982. In 1984 he joined the Spanish Society of Fertility, a field in which he has not stopped working. From 1984 to 2002 he was the head of the Gynecological Emergency Department of the Cl\u00ednica Corach\u00e1n in Barcelona.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In 1991 he requested decided to pause his assistant doctor job position, obtained by an opposition contest, from the Provincial Maternity of Barcelona. In October of 1997 he installed in his consultation of Gonzalez Tablas the first Ecographer with a 3-D technology, being pioneer in Catalonia of this technique<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In February 2011, he began a new adventure in the office located on Caravela la Ni\u00f1a, waiting, like the Nao that gives the name to the street, to reach the professional goals he once pursued, without losing at any moment the direct and absolutely personalized attention to their patients he has always had.<\/p>\n

Dr. Alejandra X. Paz, daughter of a prestigious Argentine Gynecologist, studied medicine at the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology at San Roque de Gonnet Hospital in La Plata, obtaining the title, in 2008. Subsequently she was named by opposition as the head of Residents of gynecology-obstetrics.<\/p>\n

In 2009, having the Spanish nacionality, she validated her degree in medicine and the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology, joining the Hospital Sant Joan de Reus (Catalonia).<\/p>\n

In 2011 she performed in Barcelona the Master of Reproduction of the IVI, joining the consultation that same yea.<\/p>\n

Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Central University of Barcelona (Hospital Cl\u00ednico).<\/p>\n

He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology, in the Provincial House of Maternity of Barcelona, having as his head of department Dr. Luis Guilera Vallhonrat.<\/p>\n

Doctor in Medicine and Surgery by the University of Barcelona with an outstanding “Cum Laude” in 1983.<\/p>\n

He collegiated in the Official School of Physicians of Barcelona, with the n\u00ba 11.392 until today.<\/p>\n

Incorporated in the Provincial Maternity House of Barcelona in 1978, he accessed a assistant place in April 1984, through an opposition, that he still keeps. Nowadays the center is incorporated into the ICGON (Institut Clinic of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Neonatology), being its current head of department Professor Dr. Gratac\u00f3s.<\/p>\n

Since October 1984 Senior Registrar of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service of the Red Cross Hospital of L\u2019Hospitalet de Llobregat, until March 2006.<\/p>\n

Consultant doctor of the Barraquer Institute of Barcelona.<\/p>\n

In March 2006 he joined the Samaranch consultation.<\/p>\n

He studied Medicine at the Central University of Barcelona (Hospital Clinic), finishing the studies in 1988.<\/div>\n
He accessed the specialty as a resident in Hospital of San Juan de Dios of Barcelona through the MIR exam. He is specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1992.<\/div>\n
Through a merit contest he achieved the position of assistant doctor of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service of the Hospital of San Juan de Dios of Barcelona where he still works.<\/div>\n
Besides the position duties, he has excelled in the fields of endoscopic surgery (Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy) and reproductive medicine.<\/div>\n
In June 2016, he joined the Samaranch consultation, to perform the private activity and collaborate with the rest of the professionals in the best assistance to the patients of the center.<\/div>\n

Dr. Alberto Puig Menen graduated in Medicine at the University of Barcelona in 1973. After being a medical officer in the Merchant Navy in the Cabo San Roque and Cabo San Vicente ships, in 1978 he obtained the title of specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He performed a brilliant career at the Hospital de la Cruz Roja at L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, being named successively Assistant doctor, Clinical Head and finally Head of Department of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Since 1990 he has been an associate professor at the Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In his long professional career, Dr. Puig Menen stands out for his specialization in Gynecological and Mammary Oncology.<\/p>\n

Graduated in medicine in 1991 at the University of Havana Cuba. Graduated as a specialist in Endocrinology since 1997 at the National Institute of Endocrinology in Havana, Cuba. He began his work as an Endocrinologist at the Surgical Medical Research Center where he remained until 2003 and subsequently continued at the Ram\u00f3n Gonz\u00e1lez Coro gynecological-obstetric hospital (Women’s Institute) in Cuba until 2007 where he was also part of the reproduction team of said hospital. In 2007 he came to Barcelona and since then he has worked at the Center for Infertility and Human Reproduction (CIRH) where he coordinated the oocyte donation program for 8 years and as an endocrinologist at the Manuel Corachan Clinic.<\/div>\n
Specialized training in Diabetes mellitus at the Sant Pau hospital in Barcelona in 1999, where he also took different doctorate courses. Specialized training in reproduction and andrology at the Puigvert Clinic in Barcelona in 1999<\/div>\n
Specialized training in reproductive biology for 6 months at the \u00c1ngeles del Pedregal hospital in Mexico in 2003.<\/div>\n
Author of the book Clinical Aspects of Assisted Reproduction and several national and international publications.<\/div>\n

Member of the Spanish Society of Reproduction, the Spanish Society of Endocrinology and the Spanish Society of Andrology.<\/p>\n
